Mahindra Vision S 2025 | Mini Desi Defender Launching In 2027!

Among the four concept cars that Mahindra unveiled, the closest to being production-ready was the Vision S. It’s the basis for the next-generation Bolero/Neo/Neo+ and is expected to be launched sometime in the next 12 months. However, what’s even more interesting is that the digital images of the Vision S’ cabin shared by Mahindra reveal their new interior design language, and here are four things that we observed

Updated Dual Digital Screens with new OS

The Vision S will get dual digital screens appearing to be 12-inch units that are separated from each other by an AC vent. It will run a new OS complete with new graphics for the interface. It’s likely that Mahindra will call this OS the next-gen ADRENOX system with possibly a bigger emphasis on non-interactive controls.

New Steering Wheel

Future Mahindra models will get a three-spoke round steering wheel with haptic controls for the steering-mounted functions. This is expected to run parallel to the square unit being offered in the BE6 and XEV9e.

Return of Physical Buttons

Mahindra appears to have bucked the trend of putting multiple functions in the infotainment screen by bringing proper physical buttons for the centre console. Most importantly, it will have a climate control interface and some other crucial functions with a full physical interface. The design for this appears to have built-in stacks allowing for development of muscle memory with regard to use and function.

Panoramic Glass Roof

It is India’s hottest and most in-demand feature, and Mahindra will carry it on to its future models but as a large glass roof extending the length of the cabin. A similar type of glass roof with built-in lighting is already on offer in the BE6 EV.

Four New Visions

The Vision S is one of the four cars that Mahindra took the wraps off at its Freedom_NU event on 15 August. It was joined by the Vision X (new XUV3XO), Vision T (New Thar Roxx), and the Vision SXT (Thar Roxx pickup truck).
