The Hyundai Ioniq 5 facelift is expected to launch in India

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 facelift is expected to launch in India by early 2026, with testing already observed on Indian roads. The updated model will feature visual changes like revised bumpers, improved interior ergonomics with physical buttons for some controls, a larger 84kWh battery option for increased range, and an enhanced infotainment system

Ioniq 5 Facelift Design:

Expect redesigned front and rear bumpers, a larger rear spoiler for better aerodynamics, and integrated active air flaps. 

Interior & Technology: 

The cabin will gain physical buttons for functions like seat ventilation and heated steering, a repositioned wireless charging pad, and a new 12.3-inch infotainment system with improved graphics and navigation. 

Powertrain & Range: 

The facelift will offer a larger 84kWh battery option, increasing the driving range to over 500km on a single charge for some variants. 

Chassis & Stability: 

Stiffer body structure, including a reinforced cowl crossbar and strengthened rear wheels and underbody, will enhance driving stability and agility. 

Key Features

Safety: The upgraded model boasts a more advanced safety package, including eight airbags and an enhanced collision avoidance system. 

Connectivity: A new Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC) system with over-the-air (OTA) updates, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto is included. 

New Features: A rear windscreen wiper is now standard on the facelifted model.
