Mahindra will introduce a range of new products in 2025-2026, including facelifts, all-electric SUVs, and next-generation models of current SUVs

Mahindra & Mahindra is set to introduce several new models in the Indian market, which will be launched gradually. This famous Indian SUV manufacturer is focusing on expanding its portfolio, which includes new electric vehicles, new designs and next-generation models. In this article, we will take a look at the upcoming Mahindra SUVs that will be launched in 2025-2026.

1. Mahindra Thar Facelift

Expected to launch on September 1, Mahindra will bring comprehensive updates to the Thar facelift. The popular SUV will borrow the design elements from the Thar Roxx, including the grille, bumpers, headlights and tail lamps. Inside the cabin, the spy shots highlight familiarity with the Roxx, like the steering wheels, infotainment system and more. The Mahindra Thar facelift will continue to be powered by the familiar 1.5-litre diesel, 2.2-litre diesel and 2.0-litre turbo petrol engines.

2. Mahindra XEV 7e

Mahindra XEV 7e has been in the development phase for a long time, and it is expected to launch by the end of 2025. The 7-seater electric SUV will be based on the INGLO skateboard platform shared with the XEV 9e and BE 6. It is basically the electrified version of the XUV700 and will be the first mass-market 7-seater electric SUV in the country. The XEV 7e will likely be offered in two battery pack options, i.e. 59 kWh and 79 kWh, with rear wheel drive as standard.

3. New-Gen Mahindra Bolero

The next-gen Bolero has already been spotted testing in India. Scheduled for a launch next year, i.e. 2026, the SUV will be based on the New Flexible Architecture (NFA) platform, which is expected to be officially unveiled on August 15. Mahindra will retain the boxy design elements, albeit in a much more modern avatar with round headlights, rugged bumpers, tailgate-mounted spare wheel and updated rear profile. Under the hood, the Bolero could get an updated powertrain, however, nothing can be confirmed as of now.

4. Mahindra XUV3XO EV

Scheduled for a launch next year in the Indian market, the facelifted XUV700 could be named the XUV7XO. The test mule of the updated SUV has already been spotted multiple times, partially revealing the new exterior design and triple-screen setup inside the cabin. Under the hood, the familiar 2.2-litre mHawk diesel and 2.0-litre mStallion petrol engines will continue to power the XUV700 facelift, mated to the option of a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
